Following the April 22 Pahalgam attack, all-party delegations from India concluded visits to Russia and Japan, engaging in "constructive meetings" with diplomatic leaderships to discuss the global fight against terror. A third delegation reached Bahrain to highlight India's response to cross-border radicalism. These delegations exchanged views on furthering cooperation in counter-terrorism and combating radicalism as part of India's global outreach, with seven multi-party delegations travelling to 33 global capitals.

The delegations met with political leadership, media, officials, and members of the diplomatic corps to spread awareness about Pakistan's terror designs and India's response, sharing information about Operation Sindoor. The delegation to Moscow, led by DMK MP Kanimozhi Karunanidhi, described Russia as a "close and tried and tested" friend. They sought Russia's understanding and support during this time, emphasizing that India targeted only terror hubs and would not engage in peace talks while Pakistan continues attacks.

Russia reiterated its commitment to an uncompromising joint fight against terrorism with India. The delegation to Japan wrapped up its three-day visit after engaging with Japan's political leadership, policymakers, media, and the Indian community. JD(U) RS MP Sanjay Kumar Jha, who led the delegation, said they were deeply encouraged by Tokyo's unequivocal support in New Delhi's war against terror, firmly reiterating India's zero-tolerance policy and exposing Pakistan's patronage of cross-border terror.

The delegation also visited the Tama Cemetery in Tokyo and honored freedom fighter Rash Behari Bose. TMC MP Abhishek Banerjee, part of the delegation to Japan, stated that if terrorism is a "rabid dog," Pakistan is its "vile handler," and the world must unite to tackle it. Banerjee emphasized that the team's outreach in Japan conveyed India's courage and clarity in the fight against terror, highlighting India's precise strikes on terror infrastructure while prioritizing civilian safety.

Now in Seoul, the delegation continues to convey India's unwavering commitment to global counter-terrorism efforts, reinforcing solidarity and resilience within the diaspora. Banerjee noted that their outreach in Japan concluded with meaningful engagement at the Indian Embassy, drawing attention to the Pahalgam terror attack and highlighting India's calibrated response, which decisively dismantled terror infrastructure in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir without compromising civilian safety. The all-party parliamentary delegation led by Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Kumar Jha arrived in Seoul on Saturday to further this message.
