I pointed no firearm at anybody- Pastor Adefarasin
Pastor Paul Adefarasin of House on the Rock Church has debunked claims that he pointed a firearm at an aggressive content creator.
The pastor finally broke his silence minutes before his Sunday sermon, which was streamed live on the church’s YouTube channel, claiming that the malicious incident was set up as clickbait for money-making purposes.
Adefarasin stressed that he was deeply shaken by the accusation and the reaction that trailed the incident after he was bombarded with calls from friends and family members.
"This is not merely an attåck; it is an organized strategy to make money through clickbait."

He denied ever having a license to carry firearms and expressed his dismay at being falsely accused of brandishing a pistol while he was observing the sabbath.
”The enticement of the enemy is always the love of money as the root of all evil. What they had to do with this is clickbait, to make more money.
“I was falsely accused of pointing a firearm at an aggressive content creator who came within personal distance. I do not have a pistol license. I do not carry a firearm. And I pointed no firearm at anybody,” he said.
Pastor Adefarasin assured his members that his ministry would not give in to hate speech.
“It’s our policy not to dignify hate speech and false accusations. We believe God is bigger than that.” Quoting scripture, he added: “We believe in what He said in Romans 12:19 — ‘Vengeance is mine, I will repay, says the Lord.’”
