"I'm scared, shaking," Bimbo Ademoye breaks down ahead of new movie
Nollywood actress and producer Bimbo Ademoye has shared her emotional vulnerability ahead of the release of her upcoming film, admitting that she often feels intense fear and pressure before every premiere.
In a message posted on social media, Ademoye confessed that despite having full confidence in her team and the quality of her production, the overwhelming expectations from her fans, whom she lovingly refers to as her “cyber family,” make her anxious every time.
“Whenever I’m about to release a new movie, I ALWAYS feel scared. Not because I feel it’s a bad film, I just get nervous,” she wrote. “Yes, I’m very nervous (this is the most nervous I’ve ever been, actually), but I know you guys got me.”
The upcoming film, which features some of the biggest names in Nollywood, involved extensive production efforts, including custom-built sets and lengthy filming hours, indicating the scale and ambition behind the project.
Although hasn’t announced an official release date, Bimbo revealed that the countdown to the premiere will begin soon, suggesting that the film may drop in the coming days.
Expressing gratitude, added: “There’d be no me without you. Ever. God knew I needed you. I may not know all of you. But know that I love you so much!”
Reacting to the post, fellow actress Toyin Abraham offered support and encouragement, writing: “You can’t be scared Aisha, we have God and I’m here anytime to always hold your hands. I love you so much, baby.”
