Yinka Theisan, ex-wife of Nollywood actor Linc Edochie, has shed light on her relationship with May Edochie and the events that led to the demise of her marriage.
Speaking in an interview with Uche Maduagwu, she stated that her connection with May began when she helped Pete Edochie’s son, Linc, recover his hacked Instagram account, and he posted about it on social media.
As a result, May Edochie, who had related internet issues, reached out to Yinka through Linc Edochie for assistance. Yinka stated that she provided help to the best of her ability.
However, things took a turn when Yinka liked a social media post from Judy Austin, Yul Edochie’s current wife, showcasing her child. Yinka stated that she did so because she does not want to get involved in the family drama between Yul’s estranged wife, May Edochie, and Judy Austin.
This move sparked outrage among “May Nation,” a loyal fanbase of May Edochie, who began attacking Yinka online.
In response, Yinka revealed she publicly shared May’s phone number, ultimately leading to a media storm that forced Linc to end their marriage.
Yinka maintained that she has never spoken to Yul Edochie or Judy Austin and only showed support to them on social media.
She said, “When Linc’s Instagram account was hacked, I was the one who retrieved it, so he posted about it, that a friend helped him recover his account. I was that friend. May saw the post and requested my number because she had issues with hacking, and I helped her to the best of my ability.
“So now all this started when I liked Judy’s baby’s picture. I have never spoken to Yul or Judy in my entire life. So all I did was decide I was going to be neutral from now on. I do not want to hate or point fingers, so I wrote stuff, and some people attacked me.”
