How celebrities showed up in style at the 2025 Ojude Oba Festival
It was a colourful Sunday in Ijebu-Ode, Ogun State, as top entertainers joined indigenes and guests to celebrate the 2025 edition of the annual Ojude Oba Festival.

Nollywood actors Lateef Adedimeji and Femi Branch stormed the parade grounds in grand fashion. Both stars arrived in full Yoruba traditional attire, posing for photos and greeting excited fans while paying homage to the Awujale of Ijebuland.

Street-pop star Lil Kesh stole the show with his horse-riding entry. Dressed in Aso Oke, the singer received loud cheers from the crowd as he joined various cultural age-grade groups to honour the royal father.
Actress Eniola Badmus, a proud daughter of Ijebuland, was also present. She wore a black-and-white pleated skirt, a white Givenchy shirt, matching sneakers, and a blue handbag. Her lace umbrella and bold sunglasses added a modern twist to her festival outfit. Posting photos online, she captioned it, “Ojude Oba ready… Shote Dynasty.”

Farooq Oreagba, whose 2024 appearance went viral for his regal style and cancer survival story, returned to the festival grounds on horseback, dressed in a richly embroidered agbada with coral beads and designer shades. His confidence and poise once again earned him the nickname “King of Steeze.”

Also at the event was veteran actor and director Ibrahim Chatta, who rode a decorated horse around the arena, waving to cheering fans and showing off his deep connection to Yoruba tradition.
The Ojude Oba Festival, held two days after Eid-el-Kabir, brings together rich Yoruba tradition and modern flair, drawing thousands to honour the Awujale of Ijebuland in grand fashion.
