Here's the best time to see May's 'Flower Moon'

(CNN) – Monday night will be the perfect time to gaze at May’s full moon, also known as the Flower Moon.

The Flower Moon got its nickname to signify the many blossoms of spring.

May’s full moon is also a micro-moon.

This occurs when the moon is at its greatest distance from Earth and appears smaller than a typical moon.

The next full moon will take place on June 11 and is known as the Strawberry Moon.
