Heidi Montag Releases Diss Track Aimed at Former Friend Lauren Conrad; Spencer Pratt Mocks Lauren While Promoting New Song
and are doubling down on their disfavor of and have dropped a diss track about their former co-star on .
After weeks of promoting Heidi’s 2010 album Superficial on social media to raise money after losing their home in the Los Angeles wildfires, the former stars are making it very clear that they’re still angry at Lauren for not supporting their efforts.
On Friday, Heidi dropped a surprise follow-up album to Superficial titled Superficial 2: Heidiwood Edition, featuring the original tunes, as well as a dozen new pop tunes. One of the new album’s additions includes a song titled, “Forgive & Forget,” seemingly written as a diss track aimed at Lauren, who memorably quoted the line to Heidi during an episode of ‘The Hills.’
Lyrics to the petty pop tune describe a friendship gone wrong, much like Lauren and Heidi’s, as well as a mention of “mascara tears”– another “Lauren” reference from the MTV series. The song also shouts out a certain guy whom the girl’s friend warned her was “the enemy.” (Anyone else having DeJa’Vu right about now?)
“You thought that you would get the best of me/ You’re wrong, the truth comes out eventually/ I’m not sleeping with the enemy /Do you know what you meant to me?/ Let me refresh your memory
“‘Cause, damn, you really put me through it/ But I’m taking back the life you ruined/ So I’m thanking God I didn’t lose him/ ‘Cause he didn’t break my heart, you did…”
Heidi never specifically mentions Lauren’s name in the track, but for those doubting the litany of Lauren callbacks in the song, Spencer went on to post a video to social media on Friday in which he filmed himself jamming out to “Forgive & Forget” while sporting some very Lauren-esque makeup.
“Use mascara, tears, and sympathy/ Just get some good TV/ Do you know what that did to me? (Do you know that?)
Storylines and shady lies/ Words you used to weaponize /Took so long to get the knife (Out of my back)”
Lauren has yet to respond to the “diss” track. However, fans of ‘The Hills’ had a lot to say about Speidi’s musical attack on their former co-star.
“OMG the LC quote.. damn, Heidi ate on this one…,” someone wrote in the comment section of Spencer’s TikTok post about the song.
“I wish this song had come out DURING ‘The Hills!'” someone else wrote, to which Spencer replied, “Now is better.”
“They were so mean to Heidi, this is an epic comeback! Who even is LC anymore?! Heidi is killing it so classy!” another person commented.

“This is healing my millennial heart! Speidi forever!! I’m so glad y’all made it through everything,” another person wrote.
As The Ashley previously reported, Lauren has been one of the only holdouts from Speidi’s ‘Hills’ castmates who has not posted Heidi’s music on their social media accounts to show support for her and Spencer. Earlier this month, , , , , Lo Bosworth and Talan Torriero, among others, promoted Heidi’s music online, with Lo even offering Spencer and Heidi a partnership deal with her company, Love Wellness, even after Spencer threw shade at the vitamin business.
After Spencer brought it to his fans’ attention that Lauren was not supporting his attempt to get Heidi’s music to the top of the music charts, fans flocked to Lauren’s most-recent Instagram post to voice their opinion about her ignoring Speidi. (Some fans felt that Lauren was in the wrong for not helping a former friend in need, while others argued that Lauren owed Heidi— and especially Spencer— nothing.)
As of press time, though, Lauren has not responded to any of the comments.
