, Tigers’ reputed pitcher Tarik Skubal spoke about his bond with the team’s manager A.J. Hinch. While talking about the great bond he shares with his team manager, he even mentioned the influence of Hinch on his life. He said-
"He's such a good leader. You look at his track record and you understand why those teams from Houston that he managed were very similar in terms of what we're going through and then you see the powerhouse that they built there.”
He further said-
“He talks about playing team baseball and showing up and winning today's game. You know these months can get long if you have them, so let's just focus on today's game. I think it has simplified a lot of things for our guys and I can't say enough good things about him."
A.J. Hinch was introduced to the Tigers back in 2021 and since then the improvement in Skubal’s performance has been noteworthy. The pitcher gradually made his way to the rotation and went on to establish himself as an elite sportsperson.

During the second year of his arbitration, reputed pitcher Tarik Skubal went ahead with a salary of $10.15 million with the Detroit Tigers. In comparison to his stint with the Tigers in the previous year, Skubal has achieved a better hike as he was offered $2.65 million last year after a great year.
Along with the Cy Young winner Tarik Skubal, the Detroit Tigers came to an agreement with other players including Jason Foley, Jake Rogers, Beau Brieske, Casey Mize, Will Vest, and Matt Vierling agreed for one year's contract with the Detroit Tigers.
