Harry Potter, Hermoine Granger and Ronald Weasley are all set to walk into the world of Hogwarts soon as HBO's much-anticipated series has finalised its three main leads. While Dominic McLaughlin will play the iconic Harry from the books and films, Arabella Stanton has been cast as Hermoine. Alastair Stout will don the Weasley coat to star as Ron Weasley. Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson and Rupert Grint starred in the original movies that spanned a decade (2001-2011).

After reportedly selecting them from over 30,000 actors who had auditioned for these roles that have redefined pop culture, HBO is planning to start filming by summer at Warner Bros. Studios Leavesden.

The trio join earlier announced cast members John Lithgow as Albus Dumbledore, Janet McTeer as Minerva McGonagall, Paapa Essiedu as Severus Snape, Nick Frost as Rubeus Hagrid, Luke Thallon as Quirinus Quirrell and Paul Whitehouse as Argus Filch.
