The Nigerian Chief of Naval Staff, Vice Admiral Emmanuel Ogalla made this known during the launching of Admiralty Integrated Farms Limited Centre and Unveiling of the Farm Logo Coordination in Abuja, Nigeria’s capital.
Represented by the Chief of Policy and Plans, Navy, Rear Admiral Ibrahim Dewu said that “the historic launching of the Admiralty Integrated Farms Limited Coordination Centre and the unveiling of the new ADIFAL logo marked a significant milestone in their collective effort to contribute meaningfully to the nation’s development, which is in line with the President’s visionary directive”.

According to him, this directive aims to address some critical issues confronting the nation: the persistent conflicts between herders and farmers, banditry and kidnapping and the urgent need to boost food security.
Vice Admiral Ogalla reiterated that the success of Admiralty Integrated Farms Limited hinges on their collective resolve and unwavering commitment as the efforts would not only contribute to food sufficiency but would also promote peace and stability in the communities and the entire country.
He commended the naval personnel for taking up this challenge with dedication and patriotism, exemplifying the spirit of service and commitment that defines the Armed Forces.
He also extended his heartfelt congratulations to the management and all officers and men working in Admiralty Integrated Farms Limited for their dedication embodies the true spirit of service and stewardship as this initiative would thrive and make a lasting impact on the dear nation.
Earlier, the Chief Executive Officer, Admiralty Integrated Farms Limited Rear Admiral Julius Nwagu says in compliance with the Presidential directive the Chief of the Naval Staff Vice Admiral El Ogalla mandated the Navy Holdings Limited to form an agricultural company that would meet the President’s mandate.
He added that this led to the formation of “Admiralty Integrated Farms Limited (ADIFAL)”. ADIFAL’s approach to modern agriculture, Nigerian Navy (NN) proposed locations for ADIFAL across Nigeria, key activities, ADIFAL project component and organizational structure.
Others include roles of ADIFAL, benefits of the Project as well as monitoring and evaluation and the aim.
According to him, Admiralty Integrated Farms Limited (ADIFAL) is pioneering a transformative approach to agricultural practices in Nigeria by leveraging cutting-edge technology to ensure sustainable food security and enhanced productivity.
He noted that at the heart of ADIFAL’s operations is a tech-driven strategy that integrates Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning (ML), Internet of Things (IoT), Drone Surveillance and Geospatial Technologies across all stages of the entire agricultural value chain.

He noted that Al and ML are key enablers in each stage, providing data-driven insights that help maximize yield, reduce waste, and improve decision-making.
“To facilitate this, ADIFAL has developed the ADIFAL AGRO-PRECISION FARMING PLATFORM-a centralized digital system that guides on boarded farmers in practicing precision agriculture. This platform draws on data from Satellites, Radar, Drones, and Live Visual/Audio Feeds to deliver intelligent recommendations throughout the agricultural lifecycle. The platform which is the Centre piece of ADIFAL’s innovation is housed at the centralized ADIFAL Coordination Centre”, he said.
