A memorandum of understanding (MoU) was signed between the Gujarat micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSME) commissionerate and Amazon India in order to increase the state’s e-commerce exports. Through this collaboration, the two organizations will work together to conduct workshops, provide training, and assist state-based companies in starting and expanding their exports through Amazon Global Selling.

With more than 16,500 Gujarati exporters now using Amazon Global Selling to sell to customers worldwide, the state’s export development is still astounding. Building on this momentum, the alliance will open up new doors for companies around the state.

In accordance with the Memorandum of Understanding, Amazon India would help establish an export community—local networks that provide continuous assistance and encourage cooperation among exporters around India in Gandhinagar. Additionally, it will teach MSME commissionerate members on the e-commerce and export procedures. These members would then train MSMEs throughout the state.
