WWE will be making history this year with one of its marquee events, SummerSlam. For the first time in over three decades, SummerSlam will be a two-night event, taking place on August 2nd and 3rd at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey.

Months ago, it was announced that Cardi B would be the official host for SummerSlam this year. Now, another top name from the music industry is reportedly joining the festivities. Should this new addition happen, it will add major star power to the historic edition of the Biggest Party of the Summer.

According to the Wrestling Observer Daily Update, Grammy-nominated artist Jelly Roll is reportedly scheduled to do "something" at WWE SummerSlam 2025.

Apart from that, Jelly Roll will also be making an appearance on SmackDown in Nashville on July 11. This would mark a huge addition to one of the biggest WWE shows in history that will be monumental this year.

Jelly Roll has already made appearances on WWE television programming. He appeared on episodes of Monday Night RAW. Not only that, Roll was a part of last year's SummerSlam. The music artist was involved in an in-ring segment where he hit a chokeslam on Austin Theory during A-Town Down Under's interaction with The Miz and R-Truth.

With past appearances under his belt, there is a huge possibility that he might appear at SummerSlam this year as well.

Apart from celebrity appearances, WWE has already announced the main event for one of the nights at SummerSlam this year. Cody Rhodes won the 2025 King of the Ring tournament and earned the right to challenge John Cena for the Undisputed WWE Championship. This will be a rematch from their blockbuster encounter at WrestleMania 41.

Another match would see the winner of the Queen of the Ring tournament winner, Jade Cargill, challenge for the WWE Women's Championship. She will face either Tiffany Stratton or Trish Stratus, who scheduled to battle at WWE Evolution 2.
