The Cooperative Bank has estimated losses after one of its cash lobbies was broken into during the June 25th protests.

The Githurai Branch in Kiambu County had its ATMs destroyed by protesters.
Co-operative Bank issued an official statement confirming he raid on the Githurai ATMS and the damages therein.
Monies were stolen from one of the dispensers.
The bank however, confirmed that there were no injuries were reported, save for "minimal cash loss from one of the ATMS."
Another Co-op branch to be raided was Dagoretti.
The bank counselled its clientele in the affected branches to seek services in the nearby ones as the repair works commenced.
"Co-op Bank notes that two of our branches in Githurai and Dagoretti market were affected during the demonstrations yesterday. We advise that there were no injuries to any of our customers or staff, with minimal cash loss from one of the ATMS. Repairs have commenced immediately and the branches will be fully operational in the next few days. In the meantime, customers in the two branches are requested to access our services, as usual, at the nearest Co-op Bank branch."
