According to GWL, the shutdown will affect customers in the northeastern parts of Accra, including Dodowa, Oyarifa, Madina, Adenta, Ashaley Botwe, East Legon, Abokobi, Haatso, Agbogba, Ashongman, and surrounding communities.

In a statement issued on Thursday, July 3, GWL noted: “Essential service providers are advised to contact the following numbers in case of any emergency: 0800 40000 (Toll-free on Vodafone lines), 0302 2218240, 0207385089, 0207385090, or via WhatsApp on 0555123393 and 0555155524.”

GWL explained that the repair works are critical to ensuring continuous and improved water service delivery.

Residents in the affected areas are advised to store sufficient water ahead of the scheduled shutdown. Management assured the public that water supply will be restored immediately upon completion of the repairs.

“We deeply regret any inconvenience this may cause,” the statement added.
