Italian shipbuilder Fincantieri has officially launched the second of two LNG dual-fuel cruise ships for TUI Cruises, a joint venture between TUI Group and Royal Caribbean Cruises. The highly anticipated ceremony for Mein Schiff Flow took place on May 30 at Fincantieri’s Monfalcone shipyard in Italy, marking a significant milestone in the evolution of sustainable cruising. This ship is the second in the InTUItion class, a series designed to operate on Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) and Marine Gas Oil (MGO), contributing to TUI Cruises’ goal of reducing its carbon footprint and aligning with the latest environmental regulations.

Mein Schiff Flow follows in the wake of Mein Schiff Relax, which was delivered in February 2025. Both vessels are integral to TUI Cruises’ long-term strategy of building a more sustainable and energy-efficient fleet, focused on shaping the future of eco-friendly cruising. These two vessels are not only important for the company’s growth but are also seen as central to the company’s efforts to lead the industry toward environmentally responsible cruising.
