Fraport Skyliners Frankfurt (BBL) signed 24-year-old German 198cm shooting guard Radii Caisin for the upcoming season. He played for the last two years at BC Raiffeisen Flyers Wels in the Austrian BSL league. In 29 games, he had impressive stats: 18.8ppg, 7.6rpg, 3.1apg, and 1.6spg last season. He helped them finish the regular season as the second-best team in the league and reach the Cup final. He was named Eurobasket.com All-Austrian League Bosman Player of the Year and was selected to the All-Bosmans Team and All-Defensive Team.
Caisin represented Germany at the European Championship (FIBA EuroBasket) U18 in Greece six years ago. During this event, he scored an average of 6.4 ppg and had 4.4 rpg.
He has played previously for eight other Germany teams: EnBW Ludwigsburg, TK Hannover, Artland Dragons, Hakro Merlins, Rasta Vechta, Sixers, Vechta 2, and DJK Neustadt a.d. Waldnaab.
His team won the Austrian Cup in 2024.
