French Montana 'walks out of interview' when two fellow rappers are mentioned - NewsBreak
French Montana suddenly walked out of a podcast interview after the host mentioned Drake and Rick Ross, it has been reported.
The Moroccan-American rapper, 40, appeared on the "Sited with Rah Ali" podcast to discuss his music and his career. But when Rah Ali asked French about his friends and collaborators Rick Ross and Drake - whose feud, stemming from a series of diss tracks and social media jabs, reignited in 2024 - the rapper said he had parking problems and needed to go check on his car.
The interview, published on YouTube, shows French calmly taking off his headset and asking Rah to hold them for him. "I'll be right back. I think I double parked my car outside," he said as he exited the set. However, the podcaster said French never came back.

Before leaving, French appeared to be in a good mood, an insider told Page Six, as the pair discussed about about his growth as an artist as well as his recent performance on the World Cup stage. However, things appeared to go south when the podcast host asked French about his love life - and he said he wanted to keep it private.
According to the source, French "began getting irritated" at the question but decided to walk away following the question about Drake and Rick. Despite his exit, Onside! Media's cameras continued to roll until French, who recorded a song with Rick and Drake in 2012, asked them to stop following him, the insider said.
Many fans shared their thoughts on the interview on YouTube, with one writing, "When I say no questions about Drake, I mean NO QUESTIONS ABOUT DRAKE!" Another said, "He wasn't feeling the interview the moment the relationship q was asked."
One said, "I love how you kept it cool and you continuously gave him his flowers. Touched on his philanthropy and all. Based on his reaction he might still be sensitive to the situation, but he could’ve handled that better. Pride man…"
A person wrote, "Dude got paid then walked out because he doesn't want answer questions that makes him look bad not realizing he is already there. Dude asking for a personal life when you literally live off fame and putting yourself out there is just ridiculous."
But one criticized the podcaster for asking personal questions, saying, "Yall don't respect ppl!!! I know his team told yall what questions to ask and what not to ask."
