Laurel, United States - May 10, 2025 A woman was arrested after pushing a police officer with her car and driving through a closed road at the Main Street Festival, despite multiple warnings. 28-year-old Kai DeBerry-Bostick ignored repeated commands from officers not to drive through the closed roads. While driving through the festival area, she pushed an officer with her car, causing minor injuries. The officer is expected to recover. DeBerry-Bostick parked her car within the festival's perimeter and insisted she had to leave for work. Body camera footage shows the officer offering to call her a taxi, but she drove off anyway. A vendor’s video captured the moment when police pulled her from the car and arrested her.
