Talented Noah Penda (200-F-2005) had a very impressive game in the last round for Le Mans Sarthe Basket and that's him to receive a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 30.
The 19-year old forward had a double-double of 18 points and 13 rebounds, while his team edged out La Rochelle (#16, 5-25) 100-98. Le Mans maintains the 6th position in French Betclic ELITE ProA. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost a few games earlier this season. Le Mans will need more victories to improve their 17-13 record. It was one of impressive evenings for Penda as usually he does not deliver so high stats. Noah Penda averages this season 10.5ppg and 5.3rpg.

The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was young point guard Matheo Leray (186-PG-2003) of

Stade Rochelais Basket. Leray impressed basketball fans with a double-double of 35 points and 10 assists. Bad luck as La Rochelle was edged by the higher-ranked Le Mans (#6, 17-13) 100-98. La Rochelle are still at the very bottom. 25 lost games are too many comparing to just five victories La Rochelle managed to get this year. Leray is well-known by La Rochelle fans and he already established his position as one of team's most reliable players.

The third best performed player last round was another La Rochelle's star - American Ryan Hawkins (201-PF-1997). Hawkins scored 26 points and grabbed 10 rebounds. Despite Hawkins' great performance the Stade Rochelais Basket lost

98-100 to the higher-ranked Le Mans (#6, 17-13). But his team cannot count on just these two top stars as they also need help of the other teammates. Hawkins has a very solid season. In 30 games in France he scored 8.9ppg.

10. Dominik Olejniczak (213-C-1996) of Saint Quentin - 14 points and 11 rebounds
