Guard Bastien Grasshoff (193-G-2007) had a great game in the last round for Le Mans Sarthe Basket, receiving a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 29.
The 17-year old player was the main contributor (33 points, eight rebounds and two assists) to his team's victory, helping them to outclass ASVEL (#12, 11-19) with 42-point margin 105-63. Le Mans maintains the 4th position in French ProA U21. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost a few games earlier this season. Le Mans will need more victories to improve their 20-9 record. In the team's last game Grasshoff had a remarkable 75.0% from 2-point range. He has many years of experience at Le Mans, through which he has constantly improved. Bastien Grasshoff has solid league stats. He is in league's top in points (9th best: 13.0ppg) and averages impressive 2.2spg and 53.4% FGP.

The second best player in last round's games was young Maidy Douglas (191-G-2006) of

ESSM Le Portel BBCO U21 team. Douglas had a very good evening with 27 points, 3 rebounds and 5 assists. Bad luck as Le Portel was edged by slightly lower-ranked Paris (#11, 12-18) 90-86. The game was between two teams which are definitely not main contenders for the title. Le Portel keeps 10th position. His team is not often considered as one of the league's best with a mere 13-16 record. Douglas is well-known at Le Portel and is a proven leader in his second season with the team.

Third on the list of top players last round was guard Romain Valakou (192-G-2006) of league's second-best

Cholet Basket. Valakou showcased his all-around game by recording 23 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists in the last round. He was a key player of Cholet Basket, leading his team to a 93-88 win against the lower-ranked Nancy (#8, 17-12). Cholet needs these victories very badly if they think about taking over top position in the standings. Their record at this point is 21 victories and 8 lost games. Valakou has a great season in France. After 29 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 16.1ppg (8th best).

The efficiency formula is a combination of various formulas used by different basketball organizations/leagues. We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it's accuracy.
The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3*(REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) - 2*BSAG - 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4*(2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM - 3*(2FGPA-2FGPM) - 3*(3FGPA-3FGPM) - (FTA-FTM)
