Sandy Paws Rescue Inc., a dedicated foster-based dog rescue in Massachusetts, recently explained to their community that Bree, a young shepherd mix puppy, is still waiting for an adoption application after over three months. Originally discovered in a Houston park alongside her three sisters, Bambi, Bailey, and Bridget, Bree's life took a fortunate turn when a Sandy Paws Rescue volunteer found them. Once rescued, she was swiftly placed in foster care, where over the past few months she has blossomed. "She has graduated from wanting to hang in her crate to willingly joining her foster family on the couch," shares her foster family, highlighting the remarkable progress in her confidence.

Great Dog Rescue New England, a dedicated foster-based dog rescue in Massachusetts, would like you to meet Pukita, a little 15-pound girl who has been through quite a journey. The specific details of Pukita’s early life are shrouded in mystery, but she somehow found herself living as a stray at a landfill in Mexico. When she was discovered, workers called a local rescue, who in turn brought Pukita, as well as over 30 other cats and dogs, to a local park to hopefully find potential homes. It was there that the Great Dog Rescue New England team came upon Pukita while they were visiting Mexico. According to them, “It's been a long journey to get this girl medical records and a passport, but we're happy to say that she is coming to New England at the end of June, and now she is looking for a family to love and call her own.”

Sandy Paws Rescue Inc., a dedicated foster-based dog rescue in Massachusetts, recently reported that Nixon, a remarkable young dog with a difficult past, is still searching for his forever home after over five months. Nixon’s story began when he was found wandering the streets of Texas at around one year of age. When his owners were contacted to come get him, they learned that per the city ordinance, they were required to have him neutered. They reportedly responded, “You can keep him, we only got him to breed,” and effectively abandoned him. Luckily, Sandy Paws Rescue Inc. stepped in to save Nixon from becoming another statistic. Since entering their care, Nixon has spent some time in a board-and-train program in Texas and is now living with a foster family in Massachusetts.
