Foster Kwabena Osei honoured at 9th Corporate Ghana Hall of Fame Awards
The prestigious ceremony, organised by The Business Executives, took place at the La Palm Royal Beach Hotel in Accra on Friday, February 28, 2025.
His recognition highlights his outstanding efforts in fostering comprehensive agricultural growth through various initiatives, including an out-grower scheme, mixed farming, input distribution, and the sale and rental of agro-machinery across the country.
According to the awarding board, Foster Kwabena Osei's honour reflects his ability to ensure timely access to quality services in both the public and private sectors. His exemplary management skills and continued contributions to Ghana’s economic development were key factors in his selection for the prestigious award.
The award automatically inducts him into the Corporate Ghana Hall of Fame, a top-tier executive network that brings together leading CEOs and group chairpersons. The Hall of Fame serves as an exclusive platform where members can seek professional assistance in various fields without incurring costs.

Receiving the award on his behalf, David Nortey Ocran, Operations Manager of Sika Buor Fertilizer Hub Limited, expressed deep gratitude to the staff of Sika Buor Group, farmers, and cherished clients for their unwavering support over the years.

Mr. Foster Kwabena Osei is a visionary leader and the driving force behind the Sika Buor Group, a wholly Ghanaian-owned conglomerate with diverse interests spanning agriculture and hospitality. The group comprises Sika Buor Farms Complex Limited, Sika Buor Autos, All Green Crops Solutions Limited, Sika Buor Fertilizer Hub Limited, The Farmers Court Chalets, and the forthcoming Sika Buor Foundation.
With over a decade of experience in agribusiness, he has cemented his reputation as a respected expert and industry leader. Under his leadership, Sika Buor Group has expanded rapidly, spearheading innovation and sustainability in the agricultural sector.
His key achievements include transforming Sika Buor Farms into a leading agricultural enterprise, building and managing high-performing teams delivering exceptional results, and establishing strategic partnerships with international agricultural giants, including RyAgri in South Africa, The Hans Industry in China, and The Balton CP Group (Dizengoff). He has also collaborated with Nestlé Central & West Africa Ltd to establish a semi-processing facility, enhancing business growth and economic impact. Under his leadership, the group was adjudged “Ghana’s Most Outstanding Client Satisfaction in Agro Trade and Technology.”
Mr. Osei attended Wisconsin University and is an active member of the Russian-African Business Club. He began his education at Green Hill International, continued at Aggrey Junior High School, and later attended Abuakwa State College. His career started at Coca-Cola Bottling Company Limited before moving to Wienco Agricultural and its sister company, where he gained invaluable experience in the agribusiness sector.
Hailing from the Greater Ashanti Region, he is the son of Opanyin Elder Osei Kwabena Buor from Abirem and Obaa Panyin Comfort Yaa Agyeiwaah from Akyeasi in the Kwabre East District.
