‘ son Jace has gone to live with his father, . 

The Sun broke the news— and  can confirm— that 15-year-old Jace flew to Florida on Friday to stay indefinitely with Andrew, who only recently came back into contact with his son after being absent for nearly all of Jace’s life (except for paying child support).

While it sounds unbelievable that Jenelle would allow Jace to live with Andrew after she fought so hard to regain custody of him from her mom , The Ashley can confirm it is happening and, according to her inside sources, is the result of recent trouble Jace has gotten into.

“Jace ran away last week and was missing. Andrew and Barbara were aware,” The Ashley’s source tells her, adding that Jenelle was posting about her upcoming divorce party at the time.

“Andrew had been in communication with Jace via phone since last year, so he was very worried,” the source said. “Jace was located on Thursday and a hearing was held after Jace was found. A judge ruled that Jace could go and stay with Andrew.”

Less than 24 hours after the judge made his ruling in Andrew’s favor, Jace was on his way to Florida, where Andrew lives. 

“Jenelle put Jace on a plane on Friday and he has been with Andrew since,” The Sun reported. “It’s the summertime, and as of now, it’s a temporary situation, so Jace doesn’t need to be enrolled in school at the moment. The timing worked out that he doesn’t have to start a new school immediately. But Andrew has begun the process of looking into where Jace may possibly enroll.”

Jace had been living in Las Vegas for the last year, after he and his siblings Kaiser and Ensley moved with Jenelle from North Carolina after she left David in early 2024. Since that time, Jace has run away numerous times and also gotten into several nasty fights with Jenelle that have resulted in the fired  star having to call 911 on him.

The most-recent episode was last month, when Jenelle called the cops on her son to report that Jace was “smashing everything” in their home. (Jenelle caught a lot of flak for this, given that she had spent the days before and after the call partying with her pal , who was in town from North Carolina.) 

According to The Sun‘s source, Jenelle is struggling to take care of Kaiser and Ensley amid Jace’s issues. 

“Jenelle has done the best that she could since she left David,” the insider claimed. “She’s been asking for help with things happening with Jace and she has done what she could to walk through them.”

(As fans will remember, just over six months ago, Jenelle attempted to send Kaiser off to live with his paternal grandma  in Tennessee; however, Jenelle changed her plan and went and got him, after being ridiculed by fans for sending him away.) 

According to The Sun, Jace is due to return to Vegas in mid-June for a check in, where a judge will determine if Jace can continue to live in Florida with Andrew, or if he has to go somewhere else.
