Organisations that wish to make amendments to their existing rota membership must submit a fully completed CRM12 detailing all duty solicitors they wish to add or remove from the rotas.
They need to confirm their organisation will:
Compliance against these requirements will be monitored throughout the contract period.
Duty Solicitors who have not previously submitted a CRM12 will need to provide a copy of the Criminal Litigation Accreditation Scheme (CLAS) certificate issued by the Law Society. This should be sent with their organisation’s CRM12.
The form should also be used to remove any duty solicitors who cease to be engaged by the organisation.
