The No. 1 seed Florida Gators will take on the No. 3 seed Texas Tech in the Elite Eight of the NCAA Tournament on Saturday. Both teams advanced after exciting wins in the Sweet 16.

The Gators were able to defeat No. 4 seed Maryland 87-71 to start the tournament’s second weekend after outscoring the Terrapins 47-33 in the second half after leading by two at the break. For Texas Tech, the Red Raiders were able to come back from 16 down to defeat No. 10 seed Arkansas in overtime.

Ahead of Saturday’s Elite Eight matchup, Florida (-210) has opened as a 4.5-point favorite over Texas Tech (+172) in San Francisco, per FanDuel Sportsbook.

The over/under total is set at 153.5 points.

2025 marks the 10th time the Florida Gators have appeared in the Elite Eight, and the first time since 2017. For the Texas Tech Red Raiders, it’s their third trip to the regional final. They previously appeared in back to back seasons during 2018 and 2019.
