Firefighters from Solano and Yolo counties are battling a two-alarm grass fire in rural Solano County near Winters.

The fire broke out around 5:15 p.m. along the 8000 block of Tubbs Road. It started as a car fire, according to California Highway Patrol logs, then spread to nearby vegetation.

The fire has a rapid rate of spread due to breezy wind in north Solano County. At least one structure is threatened, but no evacuation orders have been issued.
