Speaking today at a fundraising event to support women self-help groups, an event that took place at Makhokho Secondary School in Ikolomani constituency, Farouk said there is a need for Kenyans to distance themselves from Rigathi Gachagua for not having good intentions for the country.

"My fellow Kenyans, let distance from a tribal man called Rigathi Gachagua because his agenda is to divide Kenyans and promote self-centeredness," Farouk said.

However, he added that the government is currently working tirelessly to protect and bring development to Kenyans, citing that Gachagua's continued criticism of the government and its approach is hindering development.

Furthermore, he urged Kenyans to avoid the DCP party that was launched recently because it has come to divide the people and has no good intentions for them, saying Kenyans should reject Rigathi's call for citizens to join the party.

"This party called DCP will bring chaos to the country, let's not join it to protect our dignity, Gachagua has no leadership criteria to govern any country on earth, so as parents we will not allow our kids to join his team," Farouk alleged.

Farouk Kibet also called on the Kenyan government to prioritise mothers in building the country, saying they will continue to provide funds to women's groups to boost economic efforts.

"This government has prioritised women most, we are on track record to make sure women grow in business, and that's why we are here to give them funds to boost their business through the women's group," Farouk added.

He used the opportunity to urge Kenyans to register with the Social Health Authority (SHA) medical system to receive free treatment when they visit public hospitals. Farouk Kibet was accompanied by other dignitaries led by area MP Bernard Shinali, who also emphasised unity as a country, adding that Gachagua's aim to remove the president from power has been overtaken by events.

"We saw someone (Gachagua) launching a community party called DCP, in a plot to remove our beloved president Ruto from power, as Ikolomani residents, we rebuke the act, and we are sure he won't succeed because the president has a good plan for Kenyans, and Rigathi's plan is to divide Kenya, so we will not allow it," Shinali said.
