In a powerful show of advocacy and compassion, philanthropist and entrepreneur Faith Morey’s Okachi Charity Foundation (OCF) has partnered with Karis & Eleos Foundation for a vital outreach campaign aimed at combating period poverty and keeping more girls in school.

The initiative, titled ‘Help Keep Girls in School’ Outreach, took place on May 28, 2025, at Sango Junior Secondary School (Inclusive), Agege, in Lagos.

This collaborative outreach addressed a pressing issue that affects millions of school-aged girls who lack access to menstrual hygiene products.

Through this effort, the foundations aim to empower young girls with the resources they need to manage their periods safely and with dignity, allowing them to focus on their education without interruption.

“Hygiene is every day of our lives. These are conversations that were a taboo for the longest, So it’s our job to kind of speak to these kids in a way that we were not spoken to and for them to get the knowledge, because when they know they tell their community, they tell their sister, they tell their brothers” Faith said while delivering a speech.

By supporting initiatives like this, Faith Morey continues to cement her commitment to women’s empowerment and youth development across Nigeria.

The outreach impacted hundreds of girls, equipping them with both menstrual hygiene products and knowledge to manage their health confidently.
