In an interview given to telegrafin, Kyrylo Khomiakov expressed great enthusiasm for the interest that Kosovo is showing towards blockchain technology and the use of cryptocurrencies.

“Although Kosovo is a small country in terms of population size, the interest in crypto and the pace of adoption are extraordinary. We are here to educate users about innovations from Binance and to listen closely to the needs of the local community,” said Khomiakov, noting that over 4,000 people have registered to attend the conference.

According to him, Kosovo has several strategic advantages that could position it as an important hub for the crypto industry in the region: “A young population, technological knowledge, and a crypto-friendly community are key factors for success. If there is clear support from the government at all levels, Kosovo can become a regional leader in the blockchain field.”

Khomiakov also mentioned positive developments already taking place in the country, such as the ability to pay with crypto in some car dealerships or to purchase property.

As part of Binance's commitments in the region, he also announced educational projects such as , an online platform that aims to increase knowledge about crypto and financial security among young people.

“The future of the industry is in the hands of young people. We are seeing a growing demand for talent in Web3 and blockchain developers. Kosovo has all the prerequisites to encourage these talents to grow here,” he said, encouraging young people to see the crypto industry as a real career opportunity.
