EXCLUSIVE: Anjini Dhawan Reacts To Khushi And Shanaya Kapoor Being Her Competitors In Bollywood | Bollywood Bubble
Anjini Dhawan is an actress who has already made a notable impact in Bollywood with her debut film Binny and Family in 2024. Hailing from a family deeply rooted in the film industry, Anjini is the niece of David Dhawan and cousin to actor Varun Dhawan. In an exclusive interview with Bollywood Bubble, Anjini Dhawan calls Khushi Kapoor and Shanaya Kapoor her biggest cheerleaders.
Talking about her bond with Khushi Kapoor and Shanaya Kapoor, Anjini Dhawan said, “Before we became friends, none of us were in the industry. It’s not like a thing. We always used to talk about it, like, ‘You know, one day we will be in movies.’ But we always liked if anyone found a good teacher for dance class or acting class, we would message each other, saying, ‘Listen, you have to try, it’s good.’ And I think that’s what friends always do. That’s still today, till today. It doesn’t matter, we are school friends.”
Adding further, she said, “We were all in school together, so for me, they will always be my school friends, my childhood school friends. It doesn’t matter what you do. We all are each other’s biggest cheerleaders, and like on any advance, in bad phases, and bad times, we are always there to hold the other person and stand by, like a rock. So, I don’t think these things, even things we think of also, and also when you’re school friends, the equation is very different, and it stays different for life. It’s not like we became friends two or three years back and, ‘Oh, they are my friends, who are also in the same industry as me.’ So, then it stays the same for life. This kind of bond or friendship is only with school friends.”
