Euroleague - TJ-Shorts-claims-Euroleague-weekly-honour
American-North Macedonian TJ Shorts (175-PG-1997) put on an amazing game in the last round for Paris Basketball and that's him to receive a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 32.
The 27-year old playmaker got a double-double of 20 points and 14 assists, while his team edged out Panathinaikos (#4, 20-12) 101-98. Paris Basket is placed at 9th position in Euroleague. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost a few games earlier this season. Paris will need more victories to improve their 18-14 record. It's Shorts' second year at Paris Basket and it's hard to imagine this team without him. University of California - Davis graduate has very impressive stats this year. Shorts is in league's top in points (4th best: 18.8ppg) and averages solid 51.3% FGP. Worth to mention Shorts played also at Eurobasket Summer League, which helped him get the job in pro basketball.
The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was young Spanish power forward Nikola Mirotic (208-PF-1991) of
AX Armani Exchange Milano. Mirotic impressed basketball fans with 28 points and 9 rebounds. Bad luck as Armani Milano lost that game 88-98 to the higher-ranked Barca (#8, 18-14). Milano managed to keep the same 12th spot in the standings. His team lost some distance to top teams. But a 16-16 record is not bad and everything may still change. Mirotic is well-known by Milano fans and he already established his position as one of team's most reliable players. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 18.0ppg (#5). He also registered 6.4 boards per game. The third best performed player last round was American Kendrick Nunn (194-SG-1995) of
Panathinaikos Aktor Athens (#4). Nunn showcased his all-around game by recording 22 points, 8 rebounds and 9 assists in the last round. Despite Nunn's great performance the Panathinaikos lost 98-101 to the lower-ranked Paris (#9, 18-14). But his team cannot count on just a single player as he also needs help of the other teammates. The last thing Panathinaikos needs is to lose another game like this one. They lose more and more distance to the top teams. Their record is 20 victories and 12 lost games. Nunn has a great season in Euroleague. After 31 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 20.3ppg (best scorer). He also has a FGP of 57.1% and 3PT: 40.5%.Other top performing players last week:

The Player of the week is selected based on efficiency calculation, but also including game result, importance of the game, if played recorded double-double/triple-double, etc.
The efficiency formula is a combination of various formulas used by different basketball organizations/leagues. We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it's accuracy.
The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3*(REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) - 2*BSAG - 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4*(2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM - 3*(2FGPA-2FGPM) - 3*(3FGPA-3FGPM) - (FTA-FTM)
