AS Monaco Basket (Betclic ELITE ProA) has signed 28-year-old American center Kevarrius Hayes (206cm-103kg-1997, college: Florida) for the upcoming 2025-26 season. Hayes, who also holds a Central Africa passport, is the second foreign player on the roster, joining Guinean Alpha Diallo. He played for Paris Basketball (Betclic ELITE ProA) last season, averaging 7.1ppg and 4.7rpg in 35 games. Hayes was instrumental in helping Paris Basketball win the league title and the cup. In the 2024-25 season, he was named to the Eurobasket.com All-French League Honorable Mention. Hayes also played 38 games in the Euroleague, where he averaged 6.5ppg and 4.6rpg, helping his team reach the quarterfinals. Prior to joining AS Monaco Basket, Hayes spent two seasons (2022-24) playing for B.C. Zalgiris Kaunas in the Lithuanian league.
He is a very experienced player. Hayes has also played professionally in Italy, Lithuania, Turkey (Bursaspor), and the NBA Summer League (Denver Nuggets).
He graduated from the University of Florida in 2019 and it'll be his 7th season as a pro player.
