Erisha E Mobility has announced the acquisition of a $1 billion investment from a UAE-based industrial investor. This partnership is set to support the company’s efforts to expand its operations in the UAE, Saudi Arabia, the US, Europe, and various African nations, alongside strengthening its existing operations in India.

The investment will be used to establish smart manufacturing hubs and an ecosystem focused on sustainable energy solutions. The investor, a prominent player in the industrial sector, has extensive experience in the construction and industrialisation of several fast-developing economies and is a major supplier of heavy machinery.

As part of the collaboration, Erisha E Mobility has partnered with China Construction Eighth Engineering Division Co. Ltd. (CCEED), a subsidiary of China State Construction Engineering Co. Ltd. (CSCEC). CCEED will serve as the Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) contractor for the Smart Manufacturing Hub in the UAE. This hub will focus on electric and hydrogen vehicles, renewable energy, eVTOL, and semiconductor production.

The Smart Manufacturing Hub is expected to include a variety of industrial, residential, commercial, and institutional facilities. These will incorporate educational institutions, medical centres, shopping complexes, warehouses, and financial institutions.
