Comedian Eric Omondi has appeared to seek a truce between himself and Albert Ojwang's family.

The two have seemed to be at loggerheads over the amount of money that was donated to the family after their son's death.

In a video on his Instagram, Eric Omondi was spotted greeting the father of the late Albert Ojwang, Meshack Opiyo, and his wife, Eucabeth Adhiambo.

This was outside the Ridgeway Baptist Church, where the family held the memorial service ahead of his burial scheduled for Friday, July 4.

Meshack and Eucabeth appeared in deep sorrow as they walked out of the church.

Albert's mum was in tears, gazing at the hearse carrying the body of her beloved son with much grief.

Eric Omondi and Meshack had a small exchange that could have ended the recent wrangles over the amount contributed towards the funeral and burial arrangements.

The community mobiliser also had a chat with Nevnina and her son, George Myles, who was in a jovial mood, unaware of what was going on.

In his caption, Eric wrote:

"At the Ridgeway Baptist Church to Condole with the Family of Albert Ojwang."

How did Albert Ojwang and Nevnina meet?

Earlier, TUKO.co.ke also shared how Albert Ojwang and his wife, Nevnina Onyango, met.

Sharing her tribute during his memorial service, Nevnina disclosed how the two met, noting that they were friends since 2021.

The widow said they met in Kisumu through a mutual friend who was with him at Pwani University.

Nevnina said the friend gave Albert her number, and he reached out. Since then, their friendship grew.

She noted God blessed their union, and they ended up became one, with him becoming her pillar of strength.

The mother of one also recalled their last conversation, saying Ojwang asked her to be strong and assured her of his love.

She professed her love for him, saying she would always be there for his parents and their young boy.
