Erastus Ethekon faced the National Assembly's Justice and Legal Affairs Committee (JLAC) on Saturday, May 31, when his suitability to lead the commission was assessed.
As a question of integrity and concerns over potential abuse office for gainful benefits, the committee sought to know the assets and property owned by the nominee.
He revealed that his assets were mainly comprised of parces of land, livestock, motorvehicle and cars, among others.
"My net worth is estimated at KSh 276,882,237 made up of mainly assets, land, livestock, some Safaricoom shares and motor vehicles. Currently, my sources of income are from my earnings from the African Union Development Agency. The county government of Turkana still owes me my gratuity," he said.
