NTT Global Destination (NGD) with Brazilian Embassy will host a cultural diplomacy event: “Around the World in a Bottle – One Sip at a Time,”tomorrow at the Ballroom in Abuja.

The event, holding between 6 p.m. and 8 p.m., will welcome delegates attending African Export-Import Bank (Afreximbank) Annual General Meeting, African Union Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME) summit, and top bilateral business forums in the Federal Capital Territory this week.

Described by organisers as a cultural storytelling through global beverages, the evening will take guests on a symbolic trip across six continents, showcasing how drink, heritage, and hospitality intersect in diplomatic and cultural exchange.

According to Chief Executive Officer of NGD, Elizabeth Agboola, “the week’s discussions in Abuja are shaping Africa’s economic future. This event adds a cultural dimension to those efforts, reminding us of the role that shared heritage, hospitality, and storytelling play in building stronger ties.

Following the Abuja showcase, NGD is will co-host a side event during the 49th CARICOM Heads of Government Meeting in Montego Bay, Jamaica on July 8. Organised under NGD’s Motherland Reconnect initiative, it will be held in partnership with Afreximbank and Jamaican National Bank.

The Montego Bay event aims to deepen African-Caribbean engagement, highlighting opportunities in trade, tourism, and the creative economy.
