The loved ones of the late Elvis Murakana, son of Dagoretti North MP Beatrice Elachi, continue to grapple with his heartbreaking loss.

The latest to mourn Elvis is his girlfriend, who shared a touching video montage of their cherished moments.

The clips, circulating on social media, showcase the depth of their bond, capturing the beauty of their romance.

One video shows Elvis beaming with joy as he gazes lovingly into her eyes, while another captures him embracing her tightly, swaying gently from side to side.

The montage also features a moment in an elevator where the pair take mirror selfies.

In one of the most touching parts of the montage, his girlfriend holds a bouquet before they enjoy a fun bowling date.

However, the most romantic scene is a tender moment where Elvis sweetly kisses her cheeks as she records their time together.

A heartbreaking caption accompanied the video:

"Rest easy, dear friend. Rest in peace, dear friend."

Elvis was a Business Studies student at Africa Nazarene University, eagerly awaiting his graduation in June 2025, before his life was tragically cut short.

The 26-year-old passed away on March 25 while receiving medical treatment in the ICU at Nairobi Hospital.

Elvis had been involved in a horrific road accident two days before his passing.

During his memorial service, his mother spoke of his quiet and reserved nature, noting that he had never been hospitalised before.

Sadly, his first hospital visit turned out to be his last.

His family fondly remembered him as a passionate football lover, a trait he shared with his brother Kevin.

Elachi also highlighted that Elvis had a deep love for music, much like herself.

In related news, during the burial ceremony, as Elvis's mother, Elachi, finished her speech, heavy rain began to pour.

Despite the heavy downpour, MP Silvanus Osoro and the other pallbearers courageously continued their task, carrying Elvis's casket to the grave.

The water collected on the white tiles in the grave, requiring them to scoop it out with buckets.

Eventually, Elvis’s casket was gently lowered into the grave, surrounded by his grieving loved ones.
