Speaking on Friday after the Eid-el-Kabir prayers at the Sultan Bello prayer ground in Kaduna, Sani urged wealthy individuals to share their blessings with the needy.

Sani, who called on Muslims to embrace the spirit of giving as exhibited by Prophet Ibrahim during the Eid-el-Kabir celebrations, noted that the true essence of the festive period is obedience, sacrifice, compassion, and unity.

The governor said his administration has embarked on massive infrastructural development, revival of the health and educational sectors and tackling the security challenges in the state.

He congratulated Muslims over the Eid-el-Kabir celebrations and wished those who travelled for the festival safe journeys.

“Eid-el-Kabir commemorates the profound act of obedience and unwavering faith demonstrated by Prophet Ibrahim, who was prepared to sacrifice his beloved son Ismail in submission to the command of Almighty Allah,” Sani said.

“I humbly ask that you continue to pray for our dear state and the country, that Allah may continue to guide, strengthen, and inspire us as we tackle the pressing challenges of governance, development, and security.

“Let us also use this holy occasion to intercede and offer fervent prayers for the leadership of our great nation, especially our president, His Excellency Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, and all our leaders at all levels.

“May Almighty Allah grant them divine direction as they strive to build a righteous, peaceful, prosperous, and united Nigeria.”
