Dustin Yu on Pinoy Big Brother journey: 'It feels a little surreal' | GMA News Online
Dustin Yu is all sorts of grateful after his "Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition" journey.
On Instagram, the Chinito Boss-Sikap ng Quezon City posted a photo standing outside Bahay ni Kuya and reflected on his journey.
"Went inside 'PBB' with no expectations, just a willing heart and the hope to learn something along the way. I didn't really know what I was walking into, but maybe that's the best part. From watching this place on screen to standing here today, it feels a little surreal," Dustin said.
He added, "The little wins, the rough patches, the moments no one saw.. all of it added up. And it changed me. Still figuring things out, still trying, but I'm learning to be proud of how far I've come."
Dustin said he was grateful for the challenges that pushed him, the good moments that kept him going, and the times in between.
"I've come to realize that becoming who you are doesn't always happen the way you expect," Dustin said. "Sometimes it's in the small, consistent ways you keep showing up, and over time, you realize your strength was building all along."
Dustin then thanked his supporters.
"I don't think I'll ever be able to explain how much that means to me. I appreciate you all more than you'll ever know. You've been such a blessing in this journey, and I'll carry that with me wherever I go," he said.
"A chapter I didn't see coming, but one I'll always value," Dustin added.
Dustin and Bianca De Vera (DusBi) were the latest and last housemates to exit Bahay ni Kuya after losing the last Big Jump Challenge to the pair of Brent Manalo and Mika Salamanca (BreKa).
Mika and Brent joined the previously announced finalists: Charlie Fleming and Esnyr (ChaRes), Will Ashley and Ralph De Leon (RaWi), and AZ Martinez and River Joseph (AzVer).
The highly anticipated Big Night will happen tonight, July 5.
