Speaking about the sequel, Venky revealed, “I never wanted to make a sequel. But seeing the crazy response and given the film's open ending, I felt there was scope for the story to continue. My team has already started working on it, and it will surely be one hell of an entertainer.”
Dulquer Salmaan played a bank employee who executes a major crime and becomes wealthy. As the cops close in, he cleverly escapes to the U.S. Meenakshi Chaudhary played the female lead in the film, which was produced by Naga Vamsi under the Sithara Entertainments banner.
