Rapper Doechii might be most known for TikTok-viral hits like “Anxiety” and “Denial Is a River,” but she’s quickly cementing herself as a fashion icon as well. Just days after channeling Naomi Campbell while walking the Dsquared2 show runway at Milan Fashion Week, the Grammy award-winning musician did a sartorial 180 as she made an appearance in a look fresh from Paris Fashion Week. While making her elegant debut at the Le Grand Dîner du Louvre on March 4, Doechii brought Disney princess-core into the mix in Valentino couture.
The songwriter looked like she was ready for a red carpet moment as she arrived at the Paris museum in the canary yellow gown from Valentino's Vertigineux Haute Couture spring 2025 collection. The design, which was one of the first from Valentino’s new creative director, Alessandro Michele, appeared to be a bedazzled tribute to Beauty and the Beast. Covered in reflective silver embroidery from from head to toe, Doechii’s bright yellow dress featured a turtleneck, long sleeves, subtle padded shoulders, and a dramatic full skirt. According to the fashion house, the opulent, handmade gown took 800 hours to construct.

Michele, who unveiled the Vertigineux collection at Paris Fashion Week in January, previously called the dress “a living cartography that keeps traces of visual and symbolic memories”—a seeming nod to the historic silhouette that made Doechii belle of the ball last night.

The singer accessorized with diamond earrings and statement diamond rings, and swept her hair up into a sleek ballerina bun. Black eyeliner, rose pink eyeshadow, a burgundy glossy lip, and rosy cheeks completed her look.

According to Vogue, Doechii didn’t stay in her princess era for long, as she changed into a denim set from Schiaparelli to give a surprise performance of “Persuasive” as well as “Denial is a River.”
