Digital company launches Ghana branch
Digital media company, Tree Money Yard Empire (TMY Empire), has announced the establishment of TMY Ghana in a strategic move aimed at deepening its footprint across the African continent.
The launch marks a significant milestone for the Nigerian-founded company, which has steadily built a reputation in digital innovation, music production, personnel management, and multimedia content creation. TMY Ghana is expected to mirror and expand the successes of its parent company by fostering digital transformation within Ghana’s entertainment and creative sectors.
Speaking on the development, founder and CEO Ajayi Solomon described the move as a deliberate step towards global relevance through African-led digital innovation.
“Just as Marshall McLuhan referred to the world as a global village, TMY Ghana is leveraging digital media to drive global connectivity,” Solomon said.
Founded in 2011, TMY Empire grew out of Solomon’s early fascination with computers and social media. He recalled that his ambition was never guided by chance, but by the conviction that he could offer digital solutions to the world. Over the years, his ventures have earned recognition from tech giants including Facebook and Google, and he now stands as a Meta-verified business partner.
With TMY Ghana, the company will offer a wide range of services, including music and podcast production, video and photography services, public relations, and talent management. Its roster of affiliated artists includes Skiibii, Skales, Teri Apala, Soft, and Ghanaian sensation Ay Poyoo.
Solomon stressed that the company’s expansion into Ghana was not just about growth but about shaping the future of African media.
“We are fully involved in the digital transformation process,” he said. “TMY Ghana is more than an office – it’s a platform to drive innovation, nurture creatives, and push the boundaries of what digital media can do for Africa.”
As TMY Ghana commences operations, the company says it is focused on empowering a new generation of creatives and entrepreneurs. According to Solomon, the firm’s confidence stems from the impact it has already made across Nigeria and the broader African digital media scene.
“We know our impact is felt, and we are ready to replicate and deepen that influence in Ghana,” he said.
With the birth of TMY Ghana, the company is positioning itself as a major player in the evolution of Africa’s digital media landscape.
