Diddy 'nervous' as 'sex trafficking' trial begins - TheCable Lifestyle

During proceedings, Combs, dressed in a blue blazer with a gray-streaked beard, requested a bathroom break.

The embattled music mogul, facing charges that could carry a life sentence, confessed to Arun Subramanian, the judge overseeing his case, “I’m sorry, your honor, I’m a little nervous today”.

The request was initially denied before the judge relented, granting him a two-minute recess.

The trial started in earnest after the panel of 12 jurors and six alternates was selected.

Over 600 potential jurors filled out questionnaires ahead of the trial, which centers on allegations of sex trafficking, racketeering, and transporting individuals for prostitution.

A man recently  that Diddy drugged and raped him as a minor. The allegation comes on the back of recent accusations by male victims who  the rapper drugged and raped them between 2019 and 2022.

He was also  of sexually abusing 120 women and men, including a 9-year-old boy.

The Bad Boy Records founder was in Manhattan on September 16, 2024, and was indicted by prosecutors in the southern district of New York. He has pleaded not guilty.

The rapper faces life in prison if convicted on the racketeering charge. He faces another statutory minimum of 15 years for the sex trafficking charge.

Reports indicate that Cassie Ventura, Combs’ ex, is expected to testify. The trial will be open to the public but will not be streamed online.
