ahead of its April 3, 2025 release.
The demo introduces both local and online co-op through Steam's Remote Play Together, allowing players to solve mysteries as either Detective Dotson or Journalist Dotson.
Developed in Unity, the game features a distinctive visual style blending 2D and 3D elements across a stylized Indian landscape. Indian Ocean's Nikhil Rao has created an original soundtrack for the Detective Dotson, promising to add authentic cultural depth to the gameplay.
Detective Dotson will launch on Windows, MacOS, and Linux with full controller support. The final release will feature five episodes, expanding significantly beyond the demo's content.
Players can access the demo and wishlist Detective Dotson on Steam, where they can explore cases, various disguises and side quests before the game's official launch.
