. Moore, who shares three daughters with actor Bruce Willis, was expected to win the Best Actress Oscar for her performance in The Substance, having already won the Golden Globe, Critics Choice, and Screen Actors Guild Award for her performance. Instead, the Best Actress Oscar went to Mikey Madison for her performance in Anora. Madison won the BAFTA and Independent Spirit Award for her role, making this a close award race between the two.

Moore’s youngest, Tallulah Willis, shared an Instagram post of Moore after the ceremony had taken place. The photo detailed Moore, front and center, holding her dog Pilaf with two large bowls of french fries set out in front of her. Willis captioned the photo, “MY winner.” On Monday, Willis shared another post via Instagram from the Vanity Fair party and stated in the caption that she was “celebrating my hero, my mama @demimoore, last night!”.

Moore’s middle daughter, Scout Willis, reposted her younger sister’s post with her own added caption, “Queen of my heart.” She then posted Moore on her Instagram Story, stating, “So beyond proud, this woman is nothing but integrity, bright, beaming light, and love! What grace. I’ve never been more proud to be her daughter.” Scout shared another photo of her sisters and Moore via Instagram and detailed that she has “never been more proud to be a part of this family.”

Before Sunday’s Oscars, Moore’s oldest daughter, Rumer Willis, shared a sentimental post about her mother, detailing Moore as her “hero” and “forever winner”. Rumer went further on to describe the dedication Moore brought to her craft and the way she “poured every ounce of [herself] into the stories [she] tell[s], the characters [she] bring[s] to life, and the barriers [she] continues to break,” ending the paragraph by calling Moore “a force,” Rumer adds:

From the moment I was old enough to understand what you do, I have watched in awe—not just as your daughter, but as a fellow actress—learning from the way you navigate this industry with strength, grace, and an unwavering dedication to your artistry. You have never taken the easy road. You have pushed boundaries, defied expectations, and time and time again, paved the way for so many women to step into their power. And here you are, still leading, still inspiring, still proving that greatness is not just about talent, but about perseverance, passion, and an unshakable belief in yourself.

Rumer ends the sweet post by writing “No matter what happens tonight, you are already victorious in my eyes. Because your legacy isn’t just in the awards or accolades—it’s in the way you have redefined what’s possible, for yourself and for every woman who dares to dream.”
