Demi Moore is reflecting on "the ride of a lifetime" after Mikey Madison took home the Oscar for Best Actress.

On Monday, March 3, Moore, 62, shared an Instagram video highlighting moments from Sunday’s 97th Academy Awards. The footage included shots of The Substance star getting ready with her team and dog Pilaf.

"As this awards season comes to a close, I’m so overwhelmed with gratitude for this journey," she wrote in her caption, shouting out the "cast, crew, and fans" of The Substance, including director Coralie Fargeat and costar Margaret Qualley. "So grateful for my team, my fellow nominees, and everyone who has made this experience so full of joy and light."

Moore ended her post by honoring the winner: "a huge congratulations to #MikeyMadison — can’t wait to see what you do next ♥️."

After an awards season in which Moore took home trophies at the Golden Globe, Critics Choice Awards and SAG Awards — some of the first competitive acting awards she had ever won, as she noted at the Globes in January — Madison, 25, then took home the Oscar for Anora.

Madison's win was a major upset as she bested Moore, Karla Sofía Gascón, Fernanda Torres and Cynthia Erivo for the honor. Writer-director-editor Sean Baker's Anora took home five total Oscars, including Best Picture and Best Director.

Moore's daughtersScout Willis, Tallulah Willis and Rumer Willis, whom she shares with ex-husband Bruce Willis — rallied around her in the hours after the Oscars ended and continued showing support for their mother into the next day.

Tallulah, 31, shared a sweet photo of Moore cuddling with her dog Pilaf as she ate French fries to Instagram after the family attended Vanity Fair's Oscars Party together and wrote, “MY winner 🍟."

On Monday, Scout, 33, shared a photo of herself, her sisters and Moore posing at the party on Instagram and wrote, "I’ve never been more proud to be a part of this family," in a caption.
