The university offers boarding facilities at the main campus in Athi River. The hostel fees per semester are as follows:

The accepted payment methods include bankers' cheques and direct deposit into Daystar University’s bank account (A/C No. 01120065209800) at Co-operative Bank, Athi River Branch.

Direct deposits can be made at any Co-operative Bank branch. MPESA payments can be made via Paybill No. 209800, using the student's admission number as the account number.

VISA payments are also accepted. The student’s admission number must always be provided when making payments. Cash, personal cheques, and company cheques are not accepted.

Daystar University requirements vary depending on the level and type of program you are applying for. Here are the general admission criteria for different programs:

    Diploma

      Undergraduate programmes

      • For A Level candidates: 2 principal passes in Chemistry and Biology.
      • Upgrade from Diploma to B.ScN: KCSE C (plain) and relevant diploma.

      Postgraduate programmes

      • Bachelor's degree with a minimum GPA of 2.75 or First/Upper Second Class Honours.
      • A GPA of 2.5 or Lower Second Class Honours with a relevant Higher Diploma may be considered.
      • Foreign students need a Commission for University Education (CUE) recognition letter and a good conduct certificate.

      Professional courses (ACCA)

      • KCSE mean grade of C+, with C in English and Mathematics.
      • At least 2 principal passes at 'A' level.
      • 6 credits in IGCSE, including English and Mathematics.
      • CPA Part 1 holders or Accounting Technician Diploma (ATD) Intermediate and Final.
      • Relevant degree holders may be eligible for exemptions.

      To join Daystar University as a student, follow the steps outlined below:

      Daystar University offers various undergraduate and postgraduate programs across various fields, including Business, Education, Communication, Law, Social Work, Theology, and Nursing.

      Daystar University fees per semester for self-sponsored students range from Ksh 127,000 to Ksh 168,000 per semester, depending on the campus and course.

      The fee for a certificate in International Relations is Ksh 52,200, while the fee for a diploma is Ksh 74,575. Boarders will pay an orientation fee of Ksh 7,500.

      ​Daystar University does not offer a Medicine program. However, they provide a Nursing program with a fixed tuition fee of Ksh 143,300 per semester.

      ​Daystar University's School of Nursing offers a Bachelor of Science in Nursing, available for direct entry students and those upgrading from a Diploma in Nursing. For direct entry students, pay Ksh 143,300, and for an upgrade, you will pay Ksh 170,800.

      ​Daystar University's Master's programs are primarily offered at the Nairobi campus. The tuition fee is Ksh 139,900.

      Daystar University's School of Law offers a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) degree. The fee structure for LL.B. students is Ksh 167,300. Fees per credit hour are Ksh 6,950.
