Databricks Announces 2025 Data + AI Summit

Databricks is hosting its annual Data + AI Summit from June 9-12 at San Francisco's Moscone Center, expecting over 20,000 attendees from more than 160 countries, with tens of thousands more joining virtually. The summit will focus on generative AI, machine learning, analytics, and data governance, showcasing Databricks' latest product innovations and underscoring its commitment to San Francisco with a $1 billion investment over the next three years.
The Data + AI Summit will include keynotes from Databricks co-founders Ali Ghodsi, Matei Zaharia, and Reynold Xin, along with Jamie Dimon (Chairman and CEO, JPMorgan Chase), Dario Amodei (Co-founder and CEO, Anthropic), and Satya Nadella (Chairman and CEO, Microsoft). This year's theme, "Data Intelligence for All," emphasizes how organizations can leverage data to develop their own AI apps and agent systems. The event features speakers from companies like Adobe, Apple, AT&T, Block, Doordash, Doctors Without Borders, GM, Joby, Mastercard, Meta, NVIDIA, SAP, Unilever, U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, Virgin Atlantic and Walmart.
The summit program includes over 700 breakout sessions covering data intelligence, generative AI, data sharing, data governance, and industry trends. These sessions will feature innovations in Databricks AI/BI, Databricks SQL, Delta Sharing, Lakeflow, Mosaic AI, and Unity Catalog, as well as technical deep dives into open-source projects like Apache Spark™, Delta Lake, and MLflow. Industry-specific content will focus on financial services, healthcare, life sciences, public sector, retail, consumer goods, manufacturing, transportation, energy, utilities, communications, media, advertising, gaming, and tech industries. Training and certification opportunities, along with networking events, will also be available.
Networking events include a Welcome Reception on June 10, partner and executive networking events, and Data After Hours on June 11. The summit will also host the annual Women in Data + AI meetup and a new Marketing Forum to explore data and AI's impact on marketing. An all-day AI Agents Hackathon will kick off the summit, inviting data scientists, engineers, and analysts to develop innovative AI Agents using the Databricks Data Intelligence Platform. The event will feature nearly 200 sponsors and partners, including AWS, Accenture, Deloitte, Google Cloud, and Microsoft.
