Max Balegde, from Darwen, has been confirmed as a contestant in the Australian version of I'm A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here.
Max Balegde has entered the jungle for the Australian series of the show, which started this month.
Max, who has 3.6 million followers on TikTok, departed for the jungle on January 12 and some of his scenes have already aired in Australia, including a daring jump off a ledge for a star.
Speaking on his YouTube channel, Max said the production team reached out to him months ago.
He said he is appearing on the Australian version of the show due to his strong social media following in the region.
While the UK version of the show is filmed in Australia, the Aussie version is set in Kruger National Park, South Africa, which has a similar time difference to the UK.
He said: "Channel 10 reached out and said they want me on the show.
"I spoke about it with my team and didn't know if I wanted to do this, it seemed very extreme.
"I realised I have a lot of Australian followers but didn't realise it would be to the level I'd be asked to be on an Australian…
