faced a tough challenge after losing the first leg 2-1, a game that saw Nicolas Kuhn's early goal ruled out. Bayern took control with goals from Harry Kane and Michael Olise, leaving Celtic with a daunting task in the second leg.

However, the team fought back, with the German winger finding the net again in the reverse fixture, giving fans a glimmer of hope. Unfortunately, Alphonso Davies’ late equaliser sealed Celtic’s fate, resulting in a 3-2 aggregate defeat.

In the wake of their heartbreaking exit, players like Kuhn reached out to Celtic supporters with messages of gratitude and resilience. Hatate, however, struck a more positive note in his social media post.

Hatate shared several pictures from the match on Instagram, accompanied by the caption "Limitless possibilities." His post received support from teammates, including Daizen Maeda, who liked it, as well as fellow Japan international Ao Tanaka of Leeds United.

This season has been challenging for Hatate for Celtic, with some criticising his performances, particularly during the 3-0 defeat to Rangers last month.

Despite this, he has remained a consistent and trusted figure for manager Brendan Rodgers, making 42 appearances for the team this season.

During this time, he has scored seven goals and provided three assists, participating in every competition, including the League Cup and the Scottish FA Cup. Although Hatate was linked with a move to Leicester City in the summer, no deal materialised, and he continues to be a pivotal player for Celtic.
